As we close another chapter, we are invited to look back — not only to assess the path we have travelled,
but to recognise the strength that has brought us this far. The year now ending was demanding, yet it
reinforced an essential truth: the unity of the UARU community is our greatest asset.

A Year of Resilience and Collective Building
Nothing that has been achieved would have been possible without the commitment, dedication, and solidarity
of every member. Throughout the year, UARU has strengthened its role as a pillar of support and development —
through delivered projects, but also through the strength of the human connections that unite us.
Mutual support, knowledge sharing, and commitment to our collective identity allowed us to move forward
with confidence, even when the road ahead felt uncertain. This resilience is a source of pride and a clear
sign that we are building something lasting.

What We Achieved Together
Thanks to everyone’s commitment, we strengthened UARU’s presence as an active and organised community.
Our progress was collective — built through consistency, presence, and mutual support.
- Stronger cohesion among members, with closer support and collaboration.
- Progress in the delivery of community projects and initiatives.
- Reinforcement of collective identity and sense of belonging.

Vision for 2026: Three Priorities
With the beginning of a new year, we also renew our commitment to the future. The UARU presidency sets a
clear priority: to elevate the organisation to a new level of excellence — with focus, clarity, and
consistent action.
1) Capacity Building
Creating and promoting new opportunities for technical, creative, and human growth, investing in knowledge
as a driver of individual and collective transformation.
2) Visibility
Expanding the reach of the work carried out by our members, strengthening UARU’s presence and recognising
the talent within our community.
3) Sustainability
Developing mechanisms that ensure continuity and longevity for our projects, guaranteeing meaningful,
consistent, and long-term impact.
A Word of Gratitude
To our partners, collaborators, and friends: thank you. Your trust and support are what give life to this
organisation and sustain our mission.
May the new year bring health, creativity, and above all, the calm needed to continue building a better
future — together.
May 2026 be the year of our greatest collective expression.
With esteem and fellowship,
Clementino Chiquete
President of UARU
